Here are some photos of the gardens of Congress Hall in Cape May, NJ.
We stayed here earlier in the week and enjoyed doing a whole lot of nothing other than eating/drinking/swimming/laying around.
Good times.
I’ll have a comprehensive post on the entire vacation week in the next few days.
Most of my growing up years were in Ocean City, NJ and I had a beloved aunt and uncle who lived in Cape May. Hence, there were visits there several times a year. These seaside towns often had a hydrangea festival with awards given for landscapes which had the best displays and parades with floats and all sorts of summer festivities using the hydrangeas as an excuse. Your pictures brought back fond memories..
Glad I could jog some memories for you! I love that area of the NJ shore and hope to get back again next year.
At least my trumpet vines look just like those.
Do they really? Because damn they are awesome looking.
