Okay, your previous post finally convinced me to take the plunge and pay for a subscription to Fine Gardening (and two years, no less)! I already knew it was a great magazine, but effective against chatty seatmates, too?? I was sold. They owe you a percentage… And you may even convince me to try panicum. I’m never that impressed with it in the garden center but it looks very dramatic in your pic backing the itea. It will never replace Miscanthus purpurescens in my heart though…
Eric – I am hooked on Panicum over every other grass because of the way it holds up in summer through winter. That and the incredible summer/fall color. I’m calling FG now for my % …
Nice captures you have there, John!!
Thanks so much Deborah! What a time to take photos in the garden now.
I so love those touches of deep burgundy..esp. when they are backlit and glow.
Amen to that Michaele!
