I like it! I always think it’s fascinating to hear more about fellow gardeners…gives you that much better of a perspective into their personalities 🙂
This was fun! Got to hear your voice and more interesting info about YOU. …And yes,
I made it through the entire Podcast! Look forward to more!!
Hey John, Enjoyed hearing about your grandfather. Gardening is in your blood and each generation tends to express a family trait in their own way. My family are ‘professional farmers’, but I grow ornamentals not crops. It’s in the blood, my blood but done my way… It would be cool to come to your ornamental grass nursery one day! Have you visited with Kurt Bluemal, one of the founding fathers of the ornamental grass movement? I visited his wholesale nursery when in the Master Gardener program. You will feel like you died and went to heaven if you take the trip to Baldwin MD and see the cornucopia of grasses he has. Maybe you could interview him! Enjoyed the pod case and made it to the end. Take care, Nancy
Yes, it was interesting to learn more about you. I enjoyed the podcast and will listen to future episodes. Two thoughts: I am not sure how much I need to know about music preferences of your interviewees. And, I’m worried that gardening will someday go the way of earlier obsessions of yours. That would make me sad.
How about making the secret code “May 1” like Brody sent to Nazir? haha! Gardening is nostalgic for many of us, isn’t it? My dad loves azaleas & boxwoods & I do too because it reminds me of him. Both are evergreen here in Virginia & provide winter interest.
