While we have yet to technically venture into Autumn, you could really feel it in the air today. A nice chill outdoors, a blazing bright sun and even some signs of leaf drop.
But best of all, were the colors.
Not the colors of the blooms as much as the foliage colors. Greens, reds, yellows, golds, browns and everything in between. Throw in a clear blue sky and you had all colors on the color wheel represented.
With that in mind, please enjoy enjoying the following “just-before-but-not-quite-there-pre-autumnal” photos:
Lovely pictures and nice to see things before they start changing, and then you can compare as they do!
Beautiful! Fall means the end of the planting season but I do sure love those colors!
Got to love those fresh, crisp, sky blue days to sharpen one’s
senses, enhance the views and relish in it all!
I can see myself picking a nice big bouquet of those golden rod, joe pye weed and some fine, airy grasses mixed in, sitting
in my living room. 🙂
Wow, am I behind or what?!? Had to do some catching up. I love your garden, plain and simple. The grasses just enchant me. One of these days I’m gonna have some of those. Glad you had such a great time at the conference.
